Bubba Watson is known for being a world-class golfer, but did you know he is also a collector of unique motor vehicles? For example, Watson owned the original General Lee 1 and even a real hovercraft that was crafted in cooperation with Oakley and Neoteric Hovercraft, Inc.
Now, Oakley and Watson have teamed up again to create the most rugged Ford Raptor on the streets, according to a Feb. 25 article posted on Oakley’s website.. You may be quick to notice the truck’s black digital camo print, but it’s what is underneath the wrap that is astounding. Created by Mike Smith Fabrication of Huntington Beach, Calif., this entire truck is is bulletproof, including the windows. Why would Watson get a bulletproof truck? As Oakley said in the article, “Why not? It’s Bubba Watson.” Fair enough. Adding to the truck’s exterior is a reworked 6160 billet aluminum Oakley grille.
Inside, the interior has been customized with green highlights, one of Watson’s favorite colors. You’ll find green leather stitching, green Oakley logos embroidered onto the headrests and various other green accents throughout the interior.
Check out the images below and the video of Watson himself showing off the truck.
