He loves it because it’s a monster, and his is arriving at the end of August.
At the bi-annual AutoRAI in Amsterdam, Dutch music producer and DJ Afrojack pulled back the sheet on the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce, introducing it in-person to the Netherlands for the first time. Autoblog.nl was there to capture both the moment and an interview with the artist on video, which they shared on YouTube April 17. On the same day, he posted a picture of the car to his Instagram profile, showing off its stunning orange color.
As the closed caption subtitles, translated to English, tell us, Afrojack has been driving an Aventador for two years, and is absolutely in love with the SV. As he explains in the interview, the Aventador is a classic “monster” with unmatched sound. As someone who spends quite a bit of time both around and creating incredibly loud, beautiful noise, it’s easy to imagine that the tone of ane engine note would be something highly valued in his vehicles.
While he mentions that he’s a fan of other new, powerful cars that are released, he mentions that most are now either a hybrid or an electric vehicle. While important to the future of vehicle creation and production, it’s hard to compete with the classic, raw energy that comes from a roaring gasoline engine.
The other vehicle Afrojack mentions in this interview as being one he would like to own is the Bugatti Veyron, but he will have to wait a little longer to add it to his collection.
