Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno are both notorious automotive enthusiasts, each having a YouTube channel dedicated to cars.
In an episode of Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” the pair stumbles upon a test mule of the upcoming Acura NSX in the video found above. The car arrives as the pair talks about the first mass-produced car with an aluminum body, which was an Acura in the late-80’s. Seinfeld then points out that the new NSX will also have an aluminum body.
As Leno and Seinfeld go over the car’s details, Leno points out that he is glad he got the first one, and how he will give Seinfeld a ride in it when he gets it. This comes after a Super Bowl ad featuring Seinfeld spending the entirety of the commercial trying to become the first buyer of the NSX, only to be outdone by Leno. Check out the ad below.
