For the January 2016 duPont REGISTRY Cars & Coffee event, Mr. duPont chose the picturesque Museum of Fine Arts in downtown St. Petersburg at Straub Park. Volunteers from the Boys & Girls Club and Berkshire Hathaway helped us promote the first C&C of 2016, and we were welcomed by a packed field before 8 o’clock. We don’t like turning away spectators, but many were forced to walk a few blocks to view the overflow.
Given the number of people and cars, we’re thrilled at the resounding success of our first event of the year. We would like to thank MoFA for generously allowing us the use of their field. We’d also like to acknowledge St. Petersburg PD for providing traffic control and Pinellas County Sheriff Gaultieri for bringing a 50’s vintage Interceptor.
You can count on Cars & Coffee on the 3rd Saturday of each month, come rain or shine. For February, we will be back at headquarters at 6 am. Come see us and show off your ride.
