Cadillac has pulled the cover on their latest and greatest, the 2014 Cadillac ELR. This extended-range electric vehicle is an absolutely gorgeous vehicle that is sure to become a fan favorite. It has a long, sloping roof that gives the appearance of a hatchback, similar to the 2014 Audi RS7. I have to say, it is one of the most attractive vehicles that Cadillac put out in some time, and they have made some beauties as of late.
Its powered by a more tuned version of the 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine found in the Volt. Bringing in the electric power is a t-shaped 16.5 kWh lithiu-ion battery pack. Combined, the entire engine will put out 207-hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. These aren’t outstanding numbers, especially for a car weighing just over 4,000 lbs, but this car is about efficiency and style, both of which it has plenty of.
Expect to see this car on lots later this year with a pricetag around $55,000+.
