Built around the concept of speed and luxury, the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse and Koenigsegg Agera R are two hypercars that come to mind when the term “fastest” is mentioned.
One of our favorite YouTube channels, GTBOARD.com, uploaded a video on Feb. 25 of these two cars having at it at Automotive Testing Papenburg GmbH’s high speed oval track. This is one of the most exciting videos we have seen in a while, showing off the true capabilities of these cars.
Mind you, the Agera R has a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 1,140 hp, while the Grand Sport Vitesse’s quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 produces 1,200 hp. If you thought the speeds these cars were going to reach would be high, you’d be very correct. In fact, this video has speeds of over 220 mph involved.
Check out the video above to see which car proves fastest on one of Germany’s biggest testing facilities. Also, if you have a computer capable of high video quality, GTBOARD.com shot this video in 4k and it looks glorious.
