Launching at the Techno Classica show for vintage, classic and prestige vehicles in Essen, Germany today is the “Bugatti Certified” quality program. According to a press release issued by Bugatti today, this program is meant to ensure the brand’s quality standards for the Veyron market over a long period of time.
“When customers choose a Veyron, they are choosing a unique product, one that stands not only for technical innovation and unprecedented performance, but also for a great automotive tradition,” said Dr Stefan Brungs, member of the board of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. responsible for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service, in the press release. “A Bugatti is purchased as a collector’s item. To honour the trust placed in us and to ensure the lasting value of this automotive icon is our highest priority.”

In the program, the Veyrons will receive a complete service at the hands of trained Bugatti engineers. The engineers go through the catalog of requirements, ensuring the car meets the programs standards. Essential technical updates are also carried out during the service. Once the car has completed the process, it will receive the “Bugatti Certified” seal.
“We want the ‘Bugatti Certified’ seal to give Bugatti owners the assurance that their vehicle meets our highest quality standards over the long-term,” continued Brungs. “This is for owners of both new and previously owned vehicles.”
Bugatti also mentioned in the press release that the sale of the last Veyron has yet to happen.
