BMW confirmed last month that they would be debuting an X4 crossover next year. We had no idea what it was going to look like, or what BMW’s plans were for this new model. Luckily, it seems as though a Russian website, Autowp, has leaked images of this never-before-seen crossover. The car in the pictures is actually the concept for the BMW X4, and is likely to be officially unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show.
The X4 will be smaller than the X6, and will be based around the X3. Between the X3 and X4, the X4 will have more sporty and aggressive styling. BMW Chief Executive, Norbert Reithofer said that the X4 will be about 183 inches long and will use a either a turbocharged four- or six-cylinder. Diesel and gasoline engines will be available and will be sourced directly from the X3.
Expect to see this car at the Shanghai Auto Show starting April 20-29
