This is the best look we have seen of the brand new BMW i8. We can now see more of the grille, the lines running along the side of the car and we can see that the car will definitely not have butterfly doors.
The BMW i8 will be officially unveiled in 2013, but for now we know that it will feature a 1.5-liter three cylinder that will be paired with an electric motor that will exclusively power the front end. With a predicted output of 393 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque, the i8 will have a top speed of roughly 155mph.I always thought I would hate the rise of the electric engines in cars, but the torque they provide is overwhelming.
