At this year’s North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, BMW fans and buyers eagerly waited for the announcement of the brand’s newest models. Coming at 365 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque, BMW debuted its 2017 M2– one of its most anticipated cars of the year. With turbo technology and a 3-liter, 6-cylinder engine, the M2 hits 60mph in just over 4 seconds.
Also unveiled was the highly anticipated electric X4 M40i, which features a body style similar to that of the X6 with the coupe sloping back. The electric vehicle features a turbocharged, 6-cylinder engine and boasts a 0-60 time in 4.7 seconds.
The M2 will start at $51,700, plus Destination and Handling, and will be available in April 2016. The X4 M40i will start at $57,800, plus Destination and Handling, and will be available in February 2016.
