BMW and Pininfarina have teamed up to create a successor to the Zagato Coupe. This sleep 2-door coupe borrows from both Italian and German design standards. It’s Italian exclusivity and styling are apparent as can be, while it features generous surface design, a long wheelbase, stretched bonnet, short overhangs and a sloping roofline commonly found in the Bavarian automaker’s vehicles. And most importantly, under the hood is a V12 powerhouse that promises to provide the driver with plenty of excitement. The Gran Lusso Coupe may just be one of the finest 2-door coupes to be produced, but we will reserve that judgement until it is revealed. We will keep you posted on this car, so be sure to check back when it is revealed at the 2013 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
