BMW officially announced in an Apr. 3 press release that an option for the M4 Convertible will be available, and as with the topless versions of the M3s before it, it looks incredible. While the latest addition to the new “M” line-up is heavier, it still boasts similar performance figures as the coupe coupled with the same dynamic driving ability and incredible styling.

The convertible version of the sports car will be about 300 lbs heavier, but sacrifices very little in performance as a result. The Convertible will see the same fuel efficiency and a 0-60 mph time of just 4.4 seconds with the automatic dual-clutch transmission, only .3 seconds slower than the coupe. Even more impressive is that, regardless of if the top is up or down, you will still see the same top speed of 155 mph, meaning you’ll have the chance to enjoy all of the “M” powered fun, but now with more air.
BMW’s M-Series accounts for some of the best looking convertibles on the streets. In our opinion, the topless version of the race oriented BMW looks better than ever. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
