After decades of experience throughout the automotive industry and around the world, Michael Winkler has been named the new President and CEO of Bentley Motors Inc., the regional office overseeing Bentley operations in the Americas.
As the largest market for Bentley sales in the world, the United States was responsible for 29 percent of global sales in 2014 – a press release issued Jan. 26 by the British manufacturer announcing Winkler’s promotion explained that a total of 3,186 cars were delivered to the US last year, an increase over 2013’s deliveries.

“The Americas region plays a key part in Bentley’s global success, our biggest market with more Bentley customers than anywhere else in the world. I am delighted to welcome Michael to Bentley, and look forward to working with him to drive our brand and network presence further,” described Kevin Rose, Bentley’s Member of the Board for Sales, Marketing and Aftersales, in the release. Beginning April 1, Winkler will be reporting directly to Rose.
