Audi is bringing a new special edition A5 to market in a celebration of their successes in the German Touring Car Masters race series, offering a new, sportier take on the classically popular coupe.
As a press release issued by the German marque today shares, Misano red coats the exterior with starkly contrasting black accents. The black details can be found on the front, sills, rear and the DTM markings on the sides, above the sills.
On the interior, you’ll find the red and black motif carried through, with highly contoured bucket seats covered in black leather with matching Misano red seatbacks. These seats were specifically adapted from the RS model for this special edition, with red stitching acting as the finishing detail for both the seats and steering wheel.
Rhombus-patterned grilles on the front vent cool air to the engine, a 3.0-liter TDI capable of 245 hp and 427.8 lb-ft of torque capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph in 5.9 seconds.
