He talks of his father, who was a race car driver, and the car that inspired him the most: the Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO. This racecar was, according to Lichte, the one that really put Audi’s quattro on the map. Additionally, he also notes the perfect proportions of the A8, and how the first generation TT has the true essence of Audi. Now, he wants to combine these elements into one car, the A9 Concept.
At the end of the video, he gives us a quick glimpse of the A9 Concept, but we will have to wait for the official unveiling at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, which takes place Nov. 21-30.
