Aston Martin has just revealed the new Vantage GT3 Special Edition in a welcomed press release that was issued today.
“Motorsport is in our blood at Aston Martin,” said Aston Martin CEO, Dr. Andy Palmer. “The Vantage is the car we campaign in top level sports car racing around the world and so it seems only fitting that we offer an exclusive, limited edition Vantage that expertly fuses our motorsport know-how with our road car prowess.”
This new extreme English race car houses the company’s monstrous 6.0-liter V12 engine that churns up 600 hp. What’s more, the Vantage GT3 weighs 220 lbs less than the Vantage S at just 3,450 lbs. Expect it to make a 0-62 mph run in just 3.5 seconds, making it the second fastest accelerating Aston Martin ever, just behind the One-77.
The apparent body modifications are track-focused and each serve a purpose. Comprised of primarily carbon fiber, the aerodynamics pack includes a rear wing and new front fascia and more.
To make this new aggressive Aston Martin even more track-worthy, the vehicle’s track in the front and rear has been widened. The company has also gone ahead and lowered the car, making it lower and wider than any Vantage out there.

All of the aforementioned modifications result in a car that sounds incredible, performs on the track and looks fantastic.
Only 100 examples of this car will be created and each will cost around $383,000. To see more of the car, stay with us because it will hit the showroom floor at the 2015 Geneva International Motor Show.
