Aston Martin introduced a new model on their official Facebook page April 15, designed specifically for North America: the Aston Martin Vantage GT. This car is based on the V8 Vantage and the British automaker says it is the “most dramatic expression” of the model ever created.
The car’s exterior is highlighted by contrasting colors found on the grill surround, mirror caps, rear diffuser blade and, on the Coupe, the roofline. These colors are determined by which base color was selected for the Vantage GT’s exterior.
Five different paint colors are available to the customer, each incredibly unique and stunning. They include Alloro Green, Mariana Blue, Jet Black, Skyfall Silver and Speedway White. Each of these colors can be complemented by the optional GT Graphics Pack, which is inspired by the GT4 racecars.
Under the hood of the Aston Martin Vantage GT is a 430 hp 4.7-liter V8 engine. Mated to this engine is either a six-speed manual gearbox or a ‘Sportshift II’ automated manual transmission. Put the pedal down and you can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 mph.
The Vantage GT will be available in both the Coupe and Roadster format, starting with an MSRP of $99,000. Be sure to visit your local Aston Martin dealer to inquire about picking up your own Vantage GT.
