Reiter Engineering, Lamborghini’s official Gallardo GT3 partner, has created a new vehicle that they plan on entering into the Blancpain GT Series, US Pirelli World Challenge and SRO GT Sports Club. This car, the Gallardo Extenso R-EX, benefits from innovations made to its handling, power, looks and sound.
The main adjustments made to the are are:
- Carbon Fiber rear quarter panels that replace the aluminum panels
- Rear axle track width is increased by 13 cm through new wishbones
- Improved torque curve through race camshafts
- New Mahle pistons
- New front and rear lights

Reiter Engineering will be delivering 10 examples of the Gallardo Extenso R-EX to customers. They will be able to choose from either a “Carbon-Black” or “Titainum-Grey” exterior finish. The pricing on the car is currently set at €248,000, approx. $309,000 USD.
