Just when you thought Ford had outdone themselves, Jack Roush and his team have unveiled a mean machine. The Roush F-150 Raptor has returned for 2018 with a host of hardcore components. Starting where it counts, new 20″ wheels incorporate a nylon rim protector that is easily replaced. Red and black rings are included and can be swapped easily. Nobody wants curb rash on such a pretty wheel!
They are wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain K02 rubber, in a larger size than the factory offerings. To make use of the increased treads, Roush partnered with FOX Racing to engineer the Fox 3.0 external bypass shocks. Bounce and rebound are completely independent, and the valves have a unique clicking sound as they open and close.
If you need more power, the Level 1 Performance Pack offers 500 horsepower and a brutal 562 lb-ft of torque. Working with RPG Off-Road, an extensive set of body upgrades culminated in the “Overlander” concept shown here. It features tubular bumpers, LED lights all around, and a rear utility rack. Extra fuel is held in Roto Pax jerry cans, equipment like this will keep you out of danger. We can only imagine what the Stage 3 Raptor will be, so stay with us for all your Roush Performance updates.
