The Toyota GT-86 is no powerhouse by any means, with a boxer-four engine that has 205 hp and 156 lb-ft of torque on tap. Instead, it’s a car that can provide you with one of the most connected and sporty drives available for around $30,000. The Ferrari 458 Italia, on the other hand, is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 that pumps out 570 hp and 398 lb-ft and is a dream to drive.
So, if you had the 458’s F136 F V8 and a GT-86, you’d naturally throw the engine into the Toyota…Right? Well, if that’s not what you’d do, it’s what Donut Media and Gumout did. Thus, the Gumout GT4586 was born.
In a video recently released on YouTube, we get to see the GT4586 in action alongside a 458 Italia. Taking the car out for donuts around the Italian sportscar was Ryan Tuerck, an American professional drifting driver. Click play on the video below to see it in action.
