Manero Tourbillon Limited Edition (Seen Above)
Few watch complexities are as mesmerizing as a tourbillion escapement. Designed to compensate for errors in timekeeping due to the effects of gravity on the wrist in certain positions, the tourbillon is supreme discipline of watchmaking. Carl F. Bucherer masters the feat in its Manero Tourbillon Limited Edition, which houses the hand-wound CFB T1001 mechanical calibre with 70 hours of power reserve. The watch also offers 24-hour indication and date in addition to hours, minutes and tourbillon. It is crafted in 18-karat rose gold with a domed sapphire crystal. Just 188 pieces will be made.
Carl F. Bucherer pulled out all the stops when it designed and created the brand’s first true dive watch, the Patravi ScubaTec. Deftly blending watchmaking prowess with bold, functional style, the brand equips the ScubaTec with its CFB 1950.1 automatic movement. The 44.6mm watch is a COSC-certified chronometer. Ensuring ultimate water resistance and safe dive durations, the bezel of the watch is one-way rotation, hands are Super-LumiNova for underwater readability, and the sapphire crystal is almost 4mm thick. The stainless steel watch is also equipped with a helium escape valve.
