Based in the concept that utility can also be aesthetically pleasing, William Henry has been producing some of the finest hand-crafted knives and blades this country has seen. Since 1997 , the collections created by William Henry have expanded to include jewelry, money clips, golf tools, custom designs and more, but their endlessly impressive pocket knives still stand as their centerpiece.
Each piece created is part of an extremely small batch, and the quality of artistry embodied in each hand-crafted design speaks for itself. This is particularly visible in their stunning Monarch “Tactic” pocket knife, part of their Monarch series.
A limited edition of 100 pieces, the Monarch “Tactic” is a stunning tool crafted from aerospace grade titanium. A carbon fiber inlay on the handle adds a touch of flare to its sleek body, but not quite as much as the corundum sapphires on the thumb stud and button lock do. The blue of the sapphires is complemented perfectly by the addition of blue screws into the carbon fiber inlay, while the same shade of blue is also applied to the titanium pocket clip.
What truly stands out about this pocket knife though is the detail shown when it’s switched open. The blade is Carbon “X-Out” Damascus created by Chad Nichols, a stunning play of light and shade variation created through a special firing technique at Nichols Damascus.
