1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner F-Code Retractable Hardtop
Convertible and hardtop were two inextricably separate options when it came to the family vehicle in the 1950’s– that is, until Ford decided to mold the two together and create the iconic Skyliner. The Skyliner is considered a major advancement in the world of automotive technology and the Skyliner offered at Palm Beach is a pristine, well-maintained example.
1953 Buick Skylark Convertible
This one of 1690 Skylarks produced in 1953, and this model was specifically designed to commemorate Buick’s 50th Anniversary. As stated by Barrett-Jackson, The 1953 Skylark was handmade in many respects. Only stampings for the hood, trunk lid and a portion of the convertible tub were shared with the standard Roadmaster and Super convertibles.” This example has been completely restored.
1957 Supercharged Thunderbird
Barrett-Jackson states this particular model is “one of only 212 examples fitted with the Supercharged F-code 312/300hp overhead-valve V8 engine.” Restoration on this example was, “done to the exacting standards of the concours segment of the market, such as the AACA show circuit” according to an article by independent automotive journalist, Roger C. Johnson for Barrett-Jackson.
