The catch is that this Porsche 918 Spyder comes with a lovely salvage title.
Located on Copart.com, this 918 Spyder has obviously been through some tough times. Its front end has been all but ripped off, while its engine cover isn’t even installed. But at least if you purchase this 918, you’ll receive the bits and pieces that make up the missing panels.
One sad image on the car’s listing is a shot of the odometer. In the photo you actually learn quite a bit about the car, such as it’s number 830 out of the 918 made. Also, the odometer only reads 92 miles. Yes, that means this car only got to see under 100 miles of road before it was slapped with a salvage title.
Will this 918 Spyder be up and running in the future? I sure hope so. The damage may look severe, but I’ve seen Gas Monkey garage repair a wrecked Ferrari F40 and an Enzo that was ripped in half and restored, which later sold for $1.7 million. Needless to say, it can be done, but it may take quite a few Benjamins to make it happen.
If a wrecked Porsche 918 Spyder isn’t your style, don’t worry because we have plenty of pristine ones for sale on duPontREGISTRY.com. You can view them all by clicking the link below.
