The 911 series keeps adding hitters and the Porsche 911 R is no exception. The 911 R’s history begins in 1967 and the race car was “entered in rallies, in the Targa Florio and in world record runs,” according to a press release. The new 911 R will keep the racing tradition alive and is composed of a “systematic lightweight construction” coupled with high-level performance and a focus on driver experience.
