Porsche is adding more sporty options to the new Macan, according to a press release issued by the German automaker on Aug. 7. These options include a Sport Design package, sports exhaust system, bi-xenon headlights and dark-colored LED rear lights.
The Sport Design package itself features quite a few body modifications, including a new front body, side sill panels, rear bottom sections and side blades. This package can either be finished in the car’s exterior color or high gloss black.
The sports exhaust system has modified silencers. The performance and sound of the exhaust can be altered via a switch on the center console. Made of chrome-plated stainless steel in black or silver, the tailpipes are what make make the exhaust system stand out visually.
Porsche has also given customers the opportunity to give their Macan a darker look with smoked bi-xenon headlights. The inner apertures, tubes and painted rims of the headlights are finished in black. In the rear, the taillights have dark red lenses and surfaces with fitting partially finished in black.
Be sure to stop by your local Porsche dealership for more information about the Macan and its options.
