It’s only been unveiled for just a little over a month, and officially debuted just a week ago, on March 3 at the Geneva International Motor Show, but already we have a chance to see what the new Porsche Cayman GT4 is like on the track thanks to Chris Harris.
Harris, who uploads reviews of incredible cars to his YouTube channel, had a chance to take the GT4 out for a spin, and was left with only one question.
“How on earth do you make a better sports car than this?”
After the specs were released on Feb. 4, we found out that this powerhouse from Porsche will cost under $100k with a starting MSRP of $84,600. It’s set to hit showroom floors in the United States by July of this year, but the numbers we were most excited about came from the engine.
Utilizing the same 3.8-liter flat-six engine found in the 911 Carrera S, the Cayman GT4 creates 385 hp and 309 lb-ft, power levels capable of rocketing to 60 mph from a standstill in just 4.2 seconds before maxing out at 183 mph.
