The KTM X-BOW was built to thrill, there is absolutely no question about that. It tears up tracks for breakfast, and leaves its driver permanently white-knuckled. However, there has always been one problem with the X-BOW: it has no windshield.
KTM decided to fix that with the X-BOW GT. To make sure you don’t get a healthy filling of bugs in your mouth, or a rock to the face, KTM fitted the GT version with a windshield. Powering the X-BOW GT is the same Audi 2.0-liter four-cylinder, except the GT gets 285 hp instead of last year’s 300 hp.
Along with a windshield, the X-BOW GT is fitted with doors, a soft top, side windows and a storage compartment. I’d say KTM did a great job making this little monster a more practical sports car.
