Lamborghini and Pirelli both are names synonymous with the finest Italians designs and performance, and in recognition of a partnership forged between the two in 1963, the Aventador LP 700-4 Pirellli Edition has been introduced to the world.
On display at the New York International Auto Show, the Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition was first introduced as a concept Dec. 19, 2014, bringing an early holiday present to Lamborghini enthusiasts around the world. The release describes its “plucky powertrain,” a 700 hp beast worthy of a bull’s designation. A top speed of 217.4 mph comes after a 0-62 mph acceleration time of a scant 2.9 seconds.
A video posted to YouTube April 1 takes us close up to the model on display at the show, sporting glossy Bianco Isis paint on the body, matte black on the roof and other exterior features, with a red stripe along the body pulling the entire appearance together. With a few quick glances at the interior, you can see the black Alcantara with red contrast stitching and extensive carbon fiber detailing.
Exclusive equipment has been designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile to further enhance this powerhouse, with P Zero Pirelli Tires ensuring that it can effectively transfer all of its power to the road without losing any grip. Be sure to check out the video of its New York unveiling, and until we find out how one of these can become yours, take a look through our exclusive Lamborghini listings below.
