While the Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1 both were unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, they were alone in the 900 hp supercar class… until now.
An Italian based automaker called Icona is planning on revealing the Icona Vulcano at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. The man behind the Vulcano is Claudio Lombardi, the former powertrain technical director for Ferrari. With such a man behind the new supercar, it doesn’t come as a surprise that it produces 900 hp thanks to a V12 engine and electric motors. The Icona Vulcano will have a top speed of 217.5 mph, and will reach 124 mph in under 10 seconds.
