GTA Spania is back with the newest version of their limited-production GTA Spano for 2016, and it looks to be even more impressive and beautifully designed than previously thought.
In the 2015 GTA Spano, the powerful twin-turbo V10 was capable of creating a mind boggling 900 hp and 738 ft-lb. For 2016, according to a March 3 release from GTA Spania, it’s been cranked to 925 hp and 900 lb-ft.
A newly-developed sequential 7-speed gearbox will be putting that power to asphalt, propelling this beast from a standstill to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds before topping out at a speed of 330 mph. But what’s most compelling about this version of the Spano is its exterior.
GTA Spania has been working with Spain-based Graphaneno to develop the incorporation of graphene into car production. Graphene, as a Dec. 22, 2014 article from the New Yorker describes, is a recently developed material that impossibly thin, durable and lightweight. It is, essentially, a two-dimensional substance, something thought to be impossible until relatively recently.

Graphene has been incorporated into the production of the GTA Spano’s carbon fiber monocoque and chassis, making it one of the first practical applications of the material outside of a laboratory. Only 99 examples of this model will be produced, meaning you’ll need to act fast if you want to own one of these history-making vehicles.
