Turn your volume up, because this video is one you want to hear in all of its high-octane glory.
The Ferrari Enzo ZXX is a special, one-off Enzo with a unique backstory, a car akin to a Phoenix risen from the ashes. Canadian owner Zahir Rana, as a June 22, 2013 GTSpirit article describes, ran into some trouble with his 2003 Ferrari Enzo XX Evolution. A patch of gravel reportedly sent it straight into a body of water during the 2011 Targa Newfoundland Rally, literally drenching any hope of resurrecting the engine.
Rather than scrap the car, however, GTSpirit reports that Rana brought his Enzo to Edo Competition in Germany, where two years and close to $2.3 million was invested in creating a car better than the one that crashed. A 6.5-liter Ferrari V12 sits under the hood producing an insane 950 hp. Its weight was reduced through the addition of lightweight components, and a top speed of 245 mph is possible.
All of this makes for a sonorous show on the Spa Francorchamps in Belgium. Uploaded to YouTube April 8, the video above shows exactly that show, with a few insane donuts releasing butts of smoke that linger long after the car itself has disappeared.
