On Dec. 9 we posted an article stating that the yet to be released LaFerrari had already sold out. Now, allegedly, the extremely exclusive Ferrari 458 Speciales have also sold out, according to a Dec. 9 article from motoring.com.au. The track ready supercar boasts a 4.5-Liter V8 that produces 596 hp and 398 lbs-ft of torque, an upgraded version of the already loved 458 Italia. With a weight reduction, more power and improved technology, the Speciale reaches 62 mph from a stand-still .5 seconds faster than its Italia brother.
While the car is improved in performance, it runs a $550,000 price tag with an optional stereo. The total number produced is unknown, but that doesn’t change the fact that none are available for purchase. The lucky Ferrari enthusiasts who got theirs in time are sure to be satisfied with every screaming punch of the accelerator from one of the most beautiful, most aerodynamically fit Ferraris in history.
