Tamara Ecclestone, the daughter of Formula 1 head honcho Bernia Ecclestone, has lost her Lamborghini Aventador while it was being serviced.
It seems as though Tamara and her ex-boyfriend, Omar Khyami, are going through a ‘custody’ battle over the supercar and this may be why the Aventador has gone missing. She purchased the car from Ziad Shawadi in 2011, but put the car under Khyami’s name in order to secure a resident’s parking permit. While it was under his name, she still registered the car to her address in Chelsea, and that is where the confusion begins.
When Tamara and Khyami split last year, she tried to sell the car, but was unable to due to an outstanding debt that was taken out against the car. The debt had to be paid off before the car could be sold. Because of this debt, the ex-couple took to the courts to determine who actually claimed overship on the car.
As if all of this wasn’t enough drama for the two, it appears as though the Aventador has gone missing. The car was being serviced at the HR Owen garage in Acton, West London when it disappeared. Sources say that Ziad Shawadi, the one who sold the car to Tamara, took the car due to the outstanding debt and is planning on selling it.
