Recently spotted wearing minimal disguise at the Nurburgring, the impending 2014 BMW M3 seems promising. The new high-performance German sedan was seen partially camouflaged while being tested cruising around the racetrack. A selection of newly designed extensions will make this all new BMW much different from its previous generation. The BMW M3 sedan will feature new taillights and headlights, modified front and rear fascias and a slightly different overall shape.
In addition to these changes, the M3 will also highlight redesigned wing mirrors. The most significant changes however, can be found under the hood, featuring a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter six cylinder engine with 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. This differs from the current M3, which has 414 horsepower with a 4.0-liter V8 engine The new generation BMW M3 is expected to hit 62 mph in around 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph, and the lower weight due to more extensive use of aluminum and carbon-fiber features, will offer a boost to its performance and the fuel economy.
