Making its debut at the Beijing International Automobile Exhibition is the new Audi TT offroad concept. In an April 19 press release, Audi stated that this new concept “breaks the mold” by “combining the sportiness of a coupe with the lifestyle and utility of a compact SUV.”
On top of having a unique exterior design, the Audi TT offroad concept is a plug-in hybrid that features Audi’s Wireless Charging technology. The hybrid setup is comprised of a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, complete with a turbocharger, and two electrics motors, one integrated into the six-speed e-S tronic transmission and another mounted on the rear axle.
